Provided by YPmobileHad my gallbladder removed here at QotV January of last year. So far no complications. It's a far better hospital in the West Covina area than ICC.

Provided by YP.comHorrible place. You want a family member to die? Take them to Queen of the Valley hospital. My mom was taken there for respiratory infection and got sick with something else while there then she got a bone fracture, wrong antibiotic doses. When we demand an explanation the stupid doctor could not give us one. They wanted to send her home while still sick. After x rays they said she was OK but after insisting for a weak they did x rays again and confirm she had a fractured bone. We are thinking to look for legal advise. I don't think this Place should be open. Horrible place. I hope the doctors read this review. I wonder if they can sleep at knight knowing the are playing with people's life's. Just HORRIBLE.

Provided by YP.comI have a bad absess in my mouth covering my face!! and because I was in so much pain I went to the E.R. b/c if the absess gets into my blood stream it can be life threatening!!! I have no insurance and THIS happened in the middle of the weekend. The pain was beyond tolerable. Though they took me fast, the Dr. was condesending, rude and judgemental. He argued that it wasn't an absess but swollen AS HE PUSHED ON MY FACE and I yelped with pain! His answer, "should have taken care of it, you need to take care of things as they happen". LIttle does he know I went through job loss (loss of insurance) birth of my son all in an unstable living condition!!! NEVER will I go to this hospital. If I want to be judged I'll go to court, I was seeking medical treatment -- antibiotics til the dentist could see me. We're new to the area so GOD knows when that will be! VERY UPSET WITH THEM!

Provided by YP.comI have been in and out of many hospitals. I have been to Citrus twice. The first time, I couldn't belive how great they were. They didn't make you wait. They got my pain under control right away. When your in pain a min can feel like hours. So it was great that they worked fast to stop the pain. When the pain didn't go away, they worked somewhat fast to get me something else to ease the pain. I was so empressed with them that when I had to go back to the ER, I went to them. Big mistake. I had to wait over an hour before I finally got a room. I got there at 3 and they did't give me anything for my chest pain till 5:30. Then I didn't see them for another hr. When they came back they asked how my pain was, I said the same. They released me in tears and in complete pain. I was having pain due to gallstones. They had me drink this cocktail that helps settle your stomach when you have acid reflex. I drank it and it nothing for the pain. They still insisted that it was acid reflex and wrote me a perscription for it. I tried to tell them that my dr. thinks it's that a stone is lodged in my bile duct. That I have been tested for acid reflex and it wasn't that. Still they didn't listen. I still can't believe that they released me in such horrible pain. Then when I called them to complain about their dr. They told me to come back, which I would have to pay yet another copayment. I told them that I didn't have a ride by then. They told me to take a taxi. I don't have that kind of money. My pain scale was around a 8 or 9. It hurt to breath, it hurt to move. They treated me for acid reflex. I will NEVER go back to citrus again. Dr. Peter L. Kennedy is the worst dr. I have ever seen.
