This is the place that serves the hands- down best steaks. That American classic along with chops and seafood with an Italian twist. I have been going there for years and always come away more than satisfied. Together with a wonderful menu is a wait staff that makes you feel like family. An added bonus is the out of town location with easy parking.

Welcoming owners and staff. Casual atmosphere. Tried their new happy hour menu. Pink grapefruit martinis are delicious and the homemade fried mostarella triangles are to die for!



All entrees come w/ salad (try it w/garganzola cheese) and tasty garlic bread. Real value.

My first job was in a landmark steak house on Long Island. I was a busboy and learned first hand what brings people back over and over. Great food at fair prices, exceptional service, and attention to detail. It was a family run restaurant for many years which added to its success. Little did I know that at that exact time, in Stamford, Ct a new family run steak house was born in 1977. Upon moving to the Connecticut area over 18 years ago we came upon this steak house and I was instantly transported back in time. My family has literally grown up before the professional wait staff and they still have some of the original staff from 1977.

I recommend their steaks but as it is an Italian steak house you have a choice of seafood, veal, or chicken to choose from as well. Not in the mood for fish or meat? Try their delicious pasta entrees or get them as a side. They offer a nice selection of wine to complement any dish and their desserts will invoke a mental note to hit the gym the next day. Actually you may get that mental note earlier when they start you off with their endless supply of garlic bread.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years. I've seen them thru two transitions and it's remained consistently good. The meat is tender, the seafood fresh and tasty and the italian dishes are really very good. It's a great choice for both a cosy dinner for two or to bring the family out. There's always a welcoming smile when you walk in and the staff is genuinely eager to please.
