Even though I have no children I was heading through a rough divorce and risking losing big, many assets involved and ex tried hard to control and hide most of it. Attorney David Scalzi and his team were able to clarify everything and I was able to settle in a fair and satisfactory way.

I would give this "attorney" -5 stars if it was possible. My ex-wife hired him for a divorce hearing, at his first appointment with family services he tried very hard the scare me by means of threats. I will never forget laughing at him when he said to me "I am a nice guy but now you will see how bad I will be to you". Needless to say, he was so incompetent that he was fired by my ex on the same day...
You will not find a worse lawyer ever. First off, his office in connected to his home which is in a complete disgusting filthy disorganized mess. There are personal files of clients all over his desk, some are even on the floor. The seats are filthy to the point where I didn't want to even sit down. My appointments were interrupted by friends, family and other clients every time I went; which resulted in me having to leave and make another appointment. I finally decided after months of getting nothing done with him that I wanted my money back and he will not reimburse me.

organized and attentive to the manor in which I wanted my divorce case to be handled.
I wanted a lawyer who would be competent, knowledgeable and experienced, but who
also possessed an ability to negotiate without causing unnecessary future problems with
my ex-husband and his family. Even with a substantial amount of money at stake,
David Scalzi was able to smoothly and competently bring my divorce to a resolution
that was fair and which will financially protect me for the rest of my life. He was available
any time that I wanted to confer with him, whether by phone or in person. He listened
intently to my instructions and offered me legal options from which to choose. Attorney
Scalzi has be a Connecticut Divorce Attorney for 25 years. He has a delightful personality
through which he expounds a thorough comprehension of many areas of law which impact
upon divorce cases. He is knowledgeable with regard to real estate, stock and bond accounts,
tax issues such as unallocated alimony and support, criminal matters, bankruptcy and foreclosure.
He was such a pleasure to work and such an important part of the joyful life that I am living as a
result of my settlement, that I contact him from time to time just to experience his rare gift of
caring and genuine humanity.
