Provided by YPmobileI rated this 5 stars, only so everyone could see this! So went to dinner tonight.....had the WORST EXPERIENCE ever!!!! First off while eating our appetizer a cockroach...yes COCKROACH ran across our table!!! We notified our waitress of this situation, which she kindly killed it(still on our table) We moved tables as she said she was going to talk with manager. At end of our meal the manager STILL had not came out to our table!! Our waitress mortified and embrassed kept apologizing! We received our bill to see only appetizer was taken off!!! Mind you this was our first time here(which our waitress explained to said manager). Upon leaving manager and a lady (to which I have no idea what part she played in this whole debacle) Kick us out after asking "what else " we expected to get?? Then proceed to use profanity and naming calling!! MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Please do not go support this unprofessional and rude establishment!! Btw...our waitress was fantastic (sorry can't remember her name) UNBELIEVABLE way to treat anyone especially considering circumstances!!!

Provided by YPmobileLove the Sunday buffet! Great food with lots of breakfast and lunch options. Staff is always friendly. Owner Sam is always greeting people and helping older folks to their cars. May be pricey for some but you get what you pay for.

This place is beyond amazing, I went there just recently. The tree they have set up and all the beautiful decor is stunning! Its so nice to look at and enjoy while feasting on an amazing meal with excellent service. The meal, service, and ambiance is like no other in Springfield, IL and surrounding areas. We are def. going back soon.

Provided by YP.comWe had Sunday brunch here and it was just ok. When things ran out they were in no hurry to resupply. I would rather go to Denny's and it wouldn't cost me $35 for two.

Provided by YP.comI have know Sam (the owner of Mariah's) for over 8yrs. He has been a patron of my place of business and a good friend. He hosted my wedding reception. The idea that he hires illegally and pays under the table is completely riddiculus. He runs an incredible business, dedicated to outstanding service and food. He treats his employees with respect and loyalty. I would recommend that we support any mom and pop establishment that breaks the mold from the big chains. Not to mention anybody who risks their own money, toil and heart. P.S. the food is outstanding. I recommend the tenderloin or cowboy steak. Christian at the bar makes an outstanding drink to go with.

Provided by YP.comLOVINITOO has written a completely false review. Click "Read All Reviews by LOVINITOO" and see that there is an extremely flattering review about another restaurant similar to, but not nearly as good as Maraih's, including very high, over the top praise to one particular waitress. It seems a little weird to me, especially with all caps, poor grammar, and lack of punctuation. The most likely answer is jealousy. It was probably written by someone without a high school education. The truth is that the owner, Sam, is not Albanian. He is from Jordan, but is a legal United States citizen. He is a hell of nice guy, very approachable, and runs a tight ship. He takes great care in how his food is prepared and served. His staff is completely legal, all the books are spotless, and payroll is accounted for. I highly recommend Mariah's and all of their wonderful dishes. The prices are a bit higher than your average Chili's, Lone Star, or Olive Garden, but well worth it. After all you do get what you pay for, and at Mariah's you pay for excellent food, relaxing atmosphere, and the attentive staff. It’s too bad that LOVINITOO has to spread lies and propaganda such as this to compensate for their own downfalls and feelings of jealousy.

Provided by YP.com$$. Another local favorite. Nice wine selection, great steaks, pasta and seafood. Log-cabin surroundings. Upscale-casual(?).
Good food, big portions, prices affordable. I have dined here several times and overall experience is good. Excellent bread!!However, a bar tender on 2/14/2006 tried to pass off a cheap red Chianti as the $9.00 per glass wine. We had a bottle of the $9/glass wine at dinner then retired to the bar for a nightcap where we ordered the same wine and it was not the same! Watch the bartenders!
