I took my beautiful, elderly purebred Collie there for diarrhea concerns. They charged me $320 for the visit and meds that didn't cure her. That also included the vet tech taking a fecal specimen from another dog whose waste was gotten from their trash can, not mine as the tech didn't like doing the procedure. Now my dog is still sick and I can't afford another visit as they'll charge me again. SHAME on them!!
Do not take your English bulldog ! Owner treats your "bullie" as a breed of dog with tragic defects & disregards the unique needs of your individual pet. Caution! Not advised for English Bulldog!
I have been a long time client of Dr.Pfarr, and while it has been hard to see him slowly ease into retirement the new doctors are awesome! They are truly compassionate and can communicate on a "down to earth" level. The entire staff is great, i can tell they truly care about my animals. I highly recommend the animal clinic of spokane!!!!!

I have just recently moved to the Spokane area and have been looking for a good vet. I came in for an appointment and was extremely impressed when I left. They had excellent service, friendly staff and everyone was so compassionate towards my kitty and myself. I will definitely be going back!!

I've been seeing Dr Pfarr for many years. He has always been very kind to my pets. He takes the time to explain what is going on with my pets. He never talks down to me and if I don't understand something he will talk to me in layman terms. Since Dr Pfarr sold the clinic I have seen the new vets. They both seem great! Dr Pfarr made a good choice when he sold to the new vets.

I was very upset when I called to make an appt with Dr. Sutton a few months back, my vet for the past 4 years, and they told me she didn't work there anymore. I then asked where she was and they said she decided to stay home with her baby. Well a couple weeks ago I ran into a friend who is also one of her clients and mentioned that I was really upset she wasn't working anymore and she told me that she was working and found out she was at Valley Vet on Sprague and that the people at her old job new that. How appauling that they would lie to me a long time client and for what reason other than to prevent me from taking my business elsewhere I assume...well I decided I was not the only one they were lieing to so I figured this would be the best way to make it know. If you want to see Dr. S and you will love her call Valley vet and Make an appt with her. I could tell when I talked to her that something bad had happened but she said she couldn't talk about it but it wasnt her choice and was just happy I found her. Its farther from home but so worth it when you find a great vet!They have much friendly receptionists their to.

Just don't call on a Wednesday. There is a change in the front staff on that day. Debbie is Great at the front desk and knows all the ins and outs. She will tell you what to do with experience or let you talk to a Doctor until she can get you in. Dr Pfarr and Dr Sutton are fantastic! They spend time and talk with the animal and you both. Even when short of time they will make sure all your questions are answered and make you feel that you and your animal come first before anything else. They will give you hints on how to save money on medicines and special foods if needed and will work with you. I have been going there since a child when Dr Pfarr's dad took care of our pets and I will continue.

Then when I explained that our cat had been very sick all weekend and needed to be seen today if possible...the gal pretty much laughed at me and said she not only had no appointments for today, but none for the next three days.
