General Info
Wheatlands Plantation was established in 1791. And is the location of the revolutionary war site "The Battle of Boyd's Creek." The present day plantation house was occupied during the Civil War as a field house and winter camp. Explore the Chandler family that entered into America in 1610 and their journey that has become Wheatlands today. We have History Tours and History and Ghost Walk Tours. You may also inquire about special events for your family and friends as well. Tours are also available by request if you are visiting and not in town on the days we are closed. Call and we will work you in if we have the ability to make the request. Thank you for stopping in to find more info about Wheatlands Plantation.
