So I was really nervous about trying on dresses. I have never been a size two and trying on sample sizes was a big anxiety for me. I was afraid that I would love something and not be able to put it on. Marylu and her staff were absolutely amazing! Never once did I feel like my size was the problem. Yes of course the samples were a little small but Marylu told me don't worry you are going to get it on and get an idea of what you might like. Not only were they conscientious of my feelings but actually really listened to what I wanted. I found the gown. It was the third dress I tried on. And I LOVE it. I absolutely cannot imagine getting married in any other dress. The Ferri Formals staff also helped me with my bridesmaids selections. It was a big deal for me because I have been in several weddings and understand how expensive it can be. I gave a budget of what I wanted the dresses to cost, not only did Marylu and her team come under that budget but blew it out of the park. They had a ton of styles, brands, and colors, to choose from and were very accommodating to the fact that I have 8 bridesmaids, 5 of whom are out of towners. Lastly my mom. My mom deserved the absolute best mother of the bride dress there was. She is the hardest working, most loving, and giving person I know. I wanted her to have whatever she wanted. And just when I thought Marylu and Ferri Formals met their match in my amazing but very particular mom, they hit that out of the park too by simply thinking out of the box. I could not have asked for a better team and experience. My wedding planning has been very easy and stress-less and that is large in part due to Marylu and her team at Ferri Formals. I would never go anywhere else.❤️❤️❤️

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Terrible service from the first time I stepped into the store. The sales consultants were nasty and rude, the dresses took 3 and a half months LONGER than we were told to come in. 2 dresses were ordered in the wrong size, and my dress had a rather large rip in the lace. The sales consultants were not helpful at all. Do not do it!!!!

This place is horrible!The owner is very unorganized and the staff is not any better....They charge different prices for the same alterations! One of my bridesmaids was charge 85$ for getting her dress tightened, cups put in and boning added... My other bridesmaids just got their dresses tightened with boning and they were charges $105! I spoke with the owner and she chose to give me no explanation! She simply told me that she was not in a position to answer my questions!Not to mention how unorganized they are! Every time I called they had no idea who I was, which one of my bridesmaids had paid or when my dresses would be ready! I rarely blog but I thought I would come on and help my fellow brides out there!!Go somewhere else! Anywhere else!I wish I could give this place and the service here no stars out of 5 but they make you give at least one star!

My mother and I found our dream gowns at Ferris. The service we received was way beyond my expectations, and the whole experience of finding my wedding gown was what Ive always dreamt of. My gown was so unique, and I still havent seen one that even compares to it! Ive received so many compliments on its beauty and uniqueness. The staff was so friendly and courteous to us that it seemed like weve known them for years. I felt like a one-of-a-kind bride.

My experience shopping for my wedding dress at Ferri Formals was wonderful! The ladies are terrific very accommodating and pleasant. Penny altered my dress and made it look as though it was created especially for me Since purchasing my dress I have referred all my friends to make Ferris their first stop when shopping for a dress. It was a great experience.

Ferri's Bridal has something for everyone.



In looking for a "Mother of the Bride" dress, I went to many shops. Ferri's had a wider selection than most. They also had current samples to try on. It was very difficult to find a dress suitable for a Hampton's church ceremony and an evening reception on the ocean. I had a vision and was able to put it together at Ferri's.



It is the little things that count during such an emotional project. I made 5 trips before deciding on my dress. I looked at just about every dress and put on dozens. While there was someone to assist me, I did not ever feel pressured or rushed. I also felt comfortable trying on the clothes. The place was full of merchandise but everything was maintained so that the dress still looked good.



Unfortunately, I did rush them as I worked on losing weight. Other stores told me that I was too late to custom order and Ferri's said, "It is close but we have a good relationship with the vendor and the dress will be here on time." The alterations were done quickly.



I searched at "discount" houses downstate and did not find a better price than Ferri's. It was so much nicer to deal with a local vendor and also not have to travel unnecessarily.



At the wedding, I had many compliments and many questions as to where I found my dress. It was absolutely perfect. Very elegant and also comfortable to wear.

I had a wonderful wedding experience at Ferri Formals and Bridals. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and accommodating. Marylu and Lena are extremely knowledgeable and professional. On my first trip to the shop I tried on several gowns ranging from bargain priced, all the way up to Vera Wang. They have gowns for every style and budget. There were so many gorgeous dresses but I still hadnt found the one. Then Marylu called to tell me that she had just gotten in a new gown that she thought I might like. I went in to try it on and knew right away that this was the dress I would be wearing on my wedding day. Marylu and her staff were very attentive and went out of their way to help me find the perfect wedding dress and accessories. I ordered the dresses for my bridesmaids there as well. Three of my bridesmaids live out of town and the staff was very flexible when it came to scheduling dress fittings and pick-ups. One of my bridesmaids was planning a wedding around the same time as I was. She was so impressed with the service that my bridal party received that she chose to purchase her bridesmaids dresses at Ferris as well, even though she lives in North Carolina. My mother is a plus-size woman who is very uncomfortable wearing dresses. Marylu put my mother at ease and helped her select a stunning Mother of the Bride gown that she felt beautiful in. All of the gowns, mine especially, were absolutely perfect! I couldnt have been happier with my experience and would recommend Ferri Formals and Bridals to any bride.

I found the perfect wedding dress at Ferri Formals and Bridals. They had a great selection and once I found the perfect dress, they worked with me to make my look just perfect. I had been to few other bridal shops and their dresses did not compare to the dresses at Ferri Formals. The staff was very friendly and I never felt rushed or pressured into buying anything.

Marilou, the owner, and Penny, my seamstress, were nothing less than fantastic, accommodating and caring. I found the dress of my dreams at Ferri Formals. It was elegant and in my price range. Marilou has many gowns both high end designers as well as more moderately priced gowns. She carries a range of sizes so all brides both petite and plus size are able to try on dream gowns. I found in working with Marilou that is was no problem to order a dress in an extended size and no problem to have it in time for the wedding. The fittings were amazing. Penny listened to my vision of altering the dress to create sleeves that draped to the back of the dress similar to an attached cape. This was exactly what I had invisioned and she did it all over night! The custom designs I made on the dress were extra in cost, but not overpriced in my opinions. Everyone at my wedding wanted to know where I got my gown. Penny and Marilou made my gown and my wedding day come to life. The whole experience was just perfect.

Ferri Formals gave me the most personal and detailed attention when buying my wedding gown. Their staff was sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable and made my dress fittings really fun and exciting! They really gave me extraordinarily personal attention and I would recommend them to anyone buying a wedding gown or bridesmaid dress. They became an integral part of my wedding planning experience- I wouldn���t have gone anywhere else!
