Our daughter got her wedding dress at the David's Bridal store in Savannah. They nearly ruined it. They lost the sash that came with the dress, and then charged her extra for a different one. The alterations were so poorly done that the dress no longer fit, the fabric (especially the lace) was bunched, and the sash was actually sewn on upside down! They charged nearly $200 for these ruinous messes, then told her they couldn't do anything more with the dress, but that if she wanted it, she would have to sign a waiver that claimed she was satisfied with all that the store had done. What do you do a week before the wedding? She signed the waiver, then took the dress to a private tailor who took three days to fix everything (costing us another pile of money). If you are thinking of getting a dress from David's Bridal, DON'T! We tried to contact corporate customer service, but all we get are recordings, and no one ever calls back. BAD, BAD, BAD!!!!!!!
