We chose Alamo after having disastrous car rental problems with Budget, Sixt and Dooley in Ireland. We are pleased to highly recommend this Alamo in Lihue near the airport, Checkin and checkout went very smoothly. We were not charged anything extra for scratches under the car (Dooley), or sand (Budget). The price we paid online before we left home was actually reduced when we returned the car earlier.

I love this Alamo location! The staff is super helpful and friendly. The car selection is great and the kiosk service makes getting in and out a breeze. The price offered is always among the lowest on the island so I make this my rental location for every trip to Kauai (4 times a year!).

Easy, no hassle, affordable and friendly service. I haven't rented a car in several years so I was a little nervous getting one out of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson. I easily made reservation online and joined Insider. A lot of people were at the counter but line moved quickly. Representative was very friendly and helpful. I was able to get car and get on the road quickly.

The hotel we booked included an Alamo rental. I joined Alamo Insiders. For my birthday, they sent me a double upgrade, so when I arrived a opted to get my car through the counter and requested the upgrade. The whole counter experience only took a few minutes and then we were sent out into the lot to choose any car we wanted.We got a very new Hyundai Elantra. We were in and out in 10 minutes with no unpleasant surprises. The staff was friendly. Very different from the other car rental place we were booked with the previous trip.

I like the benefit of using the kiosk if there is a line. This past visit, I chose to go the counter but I was still in out in less than 10 minutes and I got to go pick my choice of car. The only real down side to this location is that it is not on airport site. However, the shuttles run all of the time so the wait is minimal. Great office hours for anyone who has an early morning flight and needs the shuttle to the airport.

2 years ago we rented a car in San Diego from Payless - the staff was rude and threatened all sorts of consequences if we didn't take the additional insurance. We vowed never to use them again and went with Alamo this time based on positive reviews. Great choice! We mentioned that our insurance and credit card will both cover any issues and they did not reply with scare tactics and/or intimidation. The people at the counter were friendly and professional as was the staff in the lot. The shuttle service to and from the airport was prompt, clean and the drivers were very friendly and helpful. The car was practically brand new! Would definitely choose Alamo again when travelling to San Diego!!

We waited 20 minutes to be waited on, the car we were to have was not on the lot. The car we received to drive was not cleaned from the previous driver. There was no one on the lot to assist with getting the car and making sure we knew how it worked.

Alamo was able to upgrade my vehicle when I checked in to rent a car. They also transported all of us to our final destination. Very pleased with their service.

I am Frank a Potato /Onion Broker I've traveled coast to coast for many years and have always made Alamo my first choice in car rentals. Because they never let me down & so it was with my last trip to Miami. Go Alamo !

There was a huge snow storm in Chicago and it wasn't going to let up anytime soon, so our flight was cancelled and we thought we were going to be stuck in the Denver airport for a looooooong time. It was a good thing we rented our van from Alamo. The two employees at Alamo, Shawn and Tillman were AWESOME! They worked out an arrangement for us to add an extra day to our rental agreement, so that we could drive back to Chicago in the van that we rented and they only charged us $279... Normally it would cost around $900 to be able to do that. It took us about 16 hours to drive back to Chicago, where it was still snowing. I'm glad we drove home, because our flight wasn't rescheduled to leave Denver until the next night at 9:50 pm... So we would have had to stay in Denver another day and a half. Because of Shawn and Tillman, Alamo has become my go to rent a car place from now on! Thank again guys! Bill

Very easy pick-up, friendly & professional agents.

Our rental from Alamo in Lihue was very good. They have kiosks available for a more rapid rental. The system allowed us to upgrade our vehicle so we could accommodate our friends who had decided to join us. Vehicle check-out and check-in was quick and efficient. The vehicle we rented presented no problems and was clean.

Renting a car from Alamo at Orlando airport was quick and easy. Since I booked online and prepaid, we simply had to ask at the desk in the garage where the vans were. Picked out the one we wanted and left. The return didn't go quite as quickly as it should have and I'm not sure why. Instead of just clearing the rental with the person in the garage, I had to go back to the desk and wait to be checked out. Not a huge deal, but they never explained why this happened. Luckily, I had plenty of time before my flight. I would rent again from Alamo.

Great complex at Atlanta airport, 5 minute tram ride, lots of car choices fast service.

Great service personnel. The online check-in was fantastic. Walked passed the long lines to the car I wanted and drove away. Will definitely use Alamo again.

Great customer service and honest. I left a purse in the car I returned and when I went back to pick it up all the contents were in the purse.

My flight was delayed so I called to make sure my car would be held. It was not and had to waste a half a day to return and get the vehicle I originally reserved.

Very friendly staff checking in and checking out. The first car they gave me had a slow leak in one of the rear tires, so I took it back the next day and they gave me another car, no questions asked. Minimum wait times checking out and checking back in.
