The center also offers detoxification and drugs court services, and substance abuse treatment programs. Additionally, it provides various health education and family counseling programs. The center specializes in physical assessments, and HIV and sexually transmitted disease screenings. It also offers pregnancy testing and counseling for women. Its department of medical health provides funding for the American Dental Association and provides assistance to individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. The center is located in St. Joseph, Mo.
