In the capacity of the court registered interpreter, over the course of a few decades, I had an opportunity to observe legal professionals at work, in many cases ranging from criminal to workers compensation law. One of the attorneys, Mrs. Hollie Rutkowski from "Compensation Law Center", certainly stands out with her expertise, tenacity and will to go "the extra mile" when representing her clients. I have worked as an independent interpreter, in an injured worker case, covered by a well known powerful insurance company, that refused to pay me for my services even 6 months after the settlement, until Mrs. Rutkowski and her courteous and capable assistant Mr. Edgar Pena got involved, free of charge. Two weeks after their intervention, insurance company agreed to pay and sent me a check.
