I was very happy with the service. I just got a regular pedicure and gel manicure. I showed the girl what I wanted for my nails and she did an amazing job. I had a separate girl doing my toes and she added a snowflake design. I would come back if I lived in the area! :-)

I am picky and been to many nail salons. I tried 5 other salons before found T Nails. This place is great...they are careful and do a great job. The price is a few dollars more but well worth it because they take their time to every little detail. They also do the best job with painting and designs. Refuse to go any where else for my nails!

ginger

I had ginger tix and she was by far the worst person ever to have done my toes! Rude rude rude! She made my big toe bleed and didn't bother to apologize! It got infected and hurt like crazy! Her area was full of dirty toe nails..even the drawer she pulled her stuff out of had toe nails in there! I will never go back to that place and would never send people her way...she doesn't even deserve a tip! Actually, here's a TIP, choose a proffession you're good at!

Had a gel manicure done. Though she was friendly, it was a forced kind of friendly. Felt very much in a hurry. She tried to use a drill on my natural nail, after much protest she finally grabbed a file. Didn't matter since she still tore up my natural nail. They're only suppose to take the shine off, not tear it up. When I asked her about it, she said it was necessary for the gel to stick to. All said and done, I paid 30.00 for nails that at first glance look fine. Look a little closer and you see pooling of gel around the cuticle of 4 nails, uneven/lumpy gel, and on several nails the gel doesn't even go to the sides. I would've said something (like I tried about the drill and later pieces of fuzz in the polish) but she clearly didn't care. Her concern was quickness NOT quality. This is my second less than great experience here, I will NOT be coming back.

Bleeding, Crooked, Rip off!

Kim, the woman that ruined my nails, cut my fingers FOUR TIMES! In fact, one of the times was with a pair of scissors! None of the items that she used were clean, she pulled them all out of a drawer that held past clients old fingernails and trimings. She stopped doing my nails in the middle of it to go do a pedicure on another client, and upon returning didn't even wash her hands before she did mine! After telling her that she hurt me and refusing to pay for the hack job she pulled on me, she yelled at me saying "No you pay! no you pay! I do for you, you pay!" After giving up trying to understand this stupid woman (how she got her cosmetology license I don't know) I gave her my credit card, which she proceeded to over charge. I asked her why it was $30 instead of the $26 she told me it would be, and she told me because she had dont gel. I told her I never asked for gel and I don't want gel, and she told me she gave me a discount!!! Save yourself and NEVER EVER go here!!!

Bleeding, crooked, rip-off!

At approx. 2:45 pm I went to T-Nails at 4662 Main Ave. SE Rochester, MN 55904 to get a full set of acrylics put onto my nails. I was never greeted, just asked what I wanted and told to sit down. I then sat down with a woman named Kim, who grabbed my hand and started to file and cut my natural nails off. She never laid down a sanitary towel or sheet, and the tools she started using were pulled out of a drawer containing other clients cut fingernails and shavings. She started on my right hand, and while using her automatic metal filer cut 2 of my fingers. She then moved to my left hand where she cut my ring finger. I jerked my hand away each time and said “ouch, that hurt.” She ignored it and kept going. She glued on the white tips, then proceeded to cut the excess of f with a pair of scissors after asking me how long I wanted them. When she got to my right hand thumb she began cutting the white tip and cut the tip of my thumb off. I ripped my hand away and yelled because it hurt. She kept going on without saying sorry or even trying to make me feel better. Kim then proceeded to apply the acrylic and put my hand under a fan for it to dry. After drying she started to file the acrylic so it was even, and cut my left hand thumb with her automatic file again. She moved to a regular manual file to smooth the edges of my nails, where she cut my pinkie finger on my right hand.

After asking me to wash my hands, she sat me down at a dryer to dry the top coat she put on. She disappeared for almost 10 minutes when only setting me on the nail dryer for 5 minutes. After looking over I discovered she was giving another client a pedicure. I sat there until she realized I was done, and she nonchalantly walked over and asked “you like?” I told her no, that there was acrylic stuck to my fingers all over the place and that the nails were crooked. She told me she would fix them. At this point I became very upset after realizing not only were they crooked, stuck to my skin, and in pain, but they were lifting off after being on for only 20 minutes! She proceeded to take my hand without asking and started filing on my pinkie finger, which was sore from being cut previously. I pulled my hands away and told her that she was hurting me and to stop. I asked Kim if there was anybody else that could do my nails and she said no. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager, and she said she was the manager. I told her at that point that I was not going to pay for her to hurt me, and that she needs to be gentle on my fingers. She told me, “NO! You pay for this. You don’t do that.” She barely spoke English, and was yelling at me because I refused to pay for this unsanitary, painful, crooked nail job. She told me I had to pay but she would fix it, so I let her try and fix it. She didn’t cut my fingers any more from that point on, but put a layer of acrylic on top of the previous acrylic to “prevent it from lifting.’ If you know anything about nails, this would only make the nail lift more. She set me under a fan to let my nail dry, and went back to doing the other clients pedicure. She came back 15 minutes later to see if the nail had dried yet, which it obviously had. She never washed her hands either time she returned from doing the other clients pedicure. When I was finished I went to the counter to pay, since I did not want to deal with her anymore. All I wanted to do was pay and go home to put Neosporin on my fingers. She told me it would be $30.00, when she previously told me it would be $26.00 on the phone when I called to make my appointment. I asked her why it was more and she told me it was because she had put gel on my nails. I told her I never asked for gel, and I didn’t want gel. She told me she was giving me a discount because it was usually $5.00 and she only charged me $4.00. I told her just to charge my card, I signed the slip and left.
