My daughter's car overheated on Saturday at Donner Summit and was able to nurse the car to Reno after replacing a broken radiator cap in Truckee. The car was still running hot and she had to finish the trip with the heater on full. I think the fluid level was low. The following Monday Mike's Automotive was able to look at the car. They did some tests and flushed the radiator, added anti freeze and made sure the fans were working. He was confident everything was fine, charged her $48 and sent her on her way stating if it was not working properly he would look at it and fix it at no charge. She made it home to the bay area today with no issues. I would like to encourage everyone to give Mike a try to keep an honest businessman available. I was in the auto parts business for 30 years and did business with many shops who were as helpful only surviving by word of mouth. Thank You for your excellent service.
