General Info

Nicki Niemann, MD, is a neurologist in the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and an assistant professor of neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Niemann’s expertise includes the diagnosis and management of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society. Dr. Niemann earned his medical degree from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. He completed his neurology residency and a fellowship in movement disorders at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Niemann’s research interests include clinical trials and translational research in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, genetics of Parkinson’s disease, and novel applications of botulinum toxin.
