If I could put 0 stars I would. We live in New Britain and it is a pain to bring our dog in the car because he barks and whines a lot be we thought this place would be worth it. Big mistake. We made an appointment and even got a reminder call. We bring our dog at that time and as soon as we walk in the door we don't even get a greeting and some lady walks up to us and gives our dog a dirty look. We told her our appointment time and she says they don't make appointments for that time. This is the only groomer in Market Square and we got a REMINDER CALL. I was going to tip them 50% since my dog is a loud mouth but with their terrible customer service I'm glad they made the mistake and will never be going back again.

I have been bring my two dogs to The Groomers for over eight years and the owner Paula is an exceptional groomer who really knows how to handle dogs. One of my dogs was not welcomed back to any grooming salon because of biting for grooming and when I talked to her about my situation she said she would work with her. It's been eight years and through Paula's help my dog is no longer afraid to be groomed and actually looks forward going to her shop, the transformation is unbelievable and I no longer stress out about bringing her to the groomers. Thank god for Paula who took the time to help my dog overcome her fear of grooming and now they share a special bond which I am grateful for.

I can't begin to tell you just how wonderful the staff is at the business. They are the most compasionate animal people that I have ever met. The skill they possess is #1 in my book. My dog just loves the owner Paula, and she is shy around most people. Thank goodness we have as excellent like this one to bring our pets to be groomed and spoiled over.
