Wow, I usually never bother actually writing a review or rating a business. I actually stumbled onto this yellow pages site and decided to look up a couple of things. When I noticed Venus in the body piercing/tattoo section, i clicked on it to read what was there. I was very surprised to read a negative review about Ronda. You see, I've had the pleasure of being tattooed by her twice this past year and I gotta say the two reviews under this one do NOT add up at all. Ronda conducted the entire process(from making the appt., to actually getting the tattoo) with the utmost professionalism. She took the idea I had verbally and turned it into an amazing 100% custom tattoo. I can't stress enough how happy and satisfied I am with all of the work I received from Ronda. I even visited her months after the first tattoo to tell her how happy I was with it. When she looked it over, she told me it needed a little touch up. This was news to me because I thought it looked fantastic. That's the kind of professional she is. So she fit me into her busy schedule, quite promptly I must add and gave me the touch up that was needed. Like I said before, I usually don't write reviews like this, but if you don't know Ronda and her caliber of work, then you need to know what an injustice the negative review below this one is. I definitely come to the conclusion that NYCtat2 and latenighter are one and the same person. I even doubt the authenticity of the review, suggesting rather it is a personal attack of some kind. I have doubts that the individual was even tattooed. If there is any truth in how they say they were handled, I'd have to say they were probably pushy, arrogant, ignorant and rude, with an "I'm the most important person on earth" attitude. In closing I will say that anyone who chooses not to seek out and form their own opinion on something they want based on a review they read on a website, is an ignorant individual themselves and does not deserve the pleasure of meeting such a professional as Ronda and will probably miss out on a lot in life too...

I guess tatoo artists sometimes get the rap for being kind of flaky but Ronda takes it to the extreme. Her work is good but not spectacular--an armband for a celebrity is her claim to fame. She is never on time for appointments, so unless you have hours and days to waste.... She guarantees her work but good luck getting an appointment for the touchup. She'll lie and give you the run-around until you just give up. Plenty of talented artists in NYC, don't bother with Ronda.
