Chawnecy's Pet Salon is a great grooming shop and has been for my 3 dogs for numerous years. It's a good atmosphere for your pet and Chawnecy is very professional with reasonable prices. I would highly recommend it for all of your grooming needs!

It must be you because I have 4 dogs that have been groomed by this business for the last 6 years and it has never been anything but professional. He's gotten on to me because I let my pets go too long without being groomed and it makes for a higher cost to me due to my negligence, not his!!

Chawncey's Pet Salon is a lot easier to find now that its sign has been changed to read "Pet Grooming." Conveniently located on Murfreesboro Road, I was struck by its simple, yet pleasant, decor, which included a fountain that my dog and I both found pleasantly diverting (although she did not try to drink from it, thankfully). Chawnecy shows dogs and has real love for them. The pets he services include pure breeds (a Chinese crested stopped by while I was there), as well as . . . well, mutts like my dog, a rescue who is a labrador retriever- irish setter mix. Chawnecy groomed her without an advance appointment -- I just called the salon and her agreed to take her. He used oatmeal soap because I told him she has sensitive skin and, as a special surprise, used a color-enhancing shampoo that worked wonders for her coat. She looked like a new dog and, based on the way she was prancing around, felt like one as well. This salon offers a number of premium services for dogs. Try it.
