i graduated culinary school and I have been working there before, and many high end restaurant. try to helping new owner out by trying to get more ppl in there but how they gonna get more ppl in there because everything is been frozen, I try to tell them let replace the frozen food to fresh homemade but they refuse..even vegetables for babimbub Korean dish been frozen for mo., mash potatoes are frozen , fish( salmon, grouper, mahi and snapper but they use tilapia ) been thraw out in microwave to order. I try to tell them that not the right way to do things..they don't care....why you pay so much money to eat there if you can buy the same food at walmar or public in frozen section !!!!! they r Chinese and they do things just like they working in Chinese restaurant...this is the second restaurantin melbourne that have Chinese owner that I working with and they all use micro to thaw out the fish, steak and everythings !!!!! best sushi in town !!! thinks twice and good luck!!

My husband ordered and picked up Haru for dinner tonight. I'm sorry to say, that we found it to be quite lacking. All of the sauces tasted watered down, the cream cheese within the rolls was so abundant that it was overwhelming, the tempura was overcooked and the eel was sliced too thick and grilled for way too long. We ordered appetizers and I was shocked how much money was spent on so little food. Two spring rolls for $5.00? I will say, that was thrilled with the shoestring potatoes and they amount of wasabi provided was wonderful. Sorry to say, I don't think we'll be making a trip back.

You'll learn to love it here! By far the best sushi I've had and that includes places I've eaten in Japan! Great service, wonderful atmosphere and an excellant selection of food to please even the toughest critics.

Hands down the best sushi restaurant in the area. We're so glad they opened one beachside!

The service was excellent!

I enjoyed the friendliness from the waitresses and the sushi chefs. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody.
