Nothing royal about this place except maybe the price. My experience began when I had to go out of town overnight. I called around to different places but most wouldn't be open for me to pick up my dog on a Sunday so I settled on the royalty dog grooming place because she said they would let me pick him up then. She said it would be $20 a day for boarding him. Well to most people that would mean 24 hours right? Not here, no apparently it means 12 hours to the lady that owns this place. But I didn't find that out til I went to pick up my dog. But I probably should have realized that she would try to con me when I walked in to the unprofessional and quite frankly, dirty interior of the shop. I handed my dog over to a girl of about 6 or 7 (how did she know my dog wouldn't bite the child? Good thing my dog is very sweet) and reluctantly gave her instructions for him. I had to bring his food with him, almost unheard of in most professional places and outrageous for the $45 charge. Also, he wasn't bathed or anything, which for that price he should have at least had had a bath to wash out the rank smell of that place. Take home message. Don't go here unless you want to be overcharged for services that can be provided for cheaper and more professionally elsewhere. 0 stars if I could.

I've been bringing my dog for about 2 years to this place and the owner always does a great job. We've also left our dog (small breed) a couple of days when we go out of town and the owner is very accommodating. You can't beat this place for the price they charge!

took my Boxer on a Saturday and they were very helpful and professional. My dog loved the place and they had some very good tips for me. excellent caring staff. i liked the home feeling of the place rather than the cold pet store feeling you get at performance etc.

I took my puppy to get groomed on Saturday afternoon. On that day it seemed like they were rather busy but the lady that was there agreed to take my puppy even though it was late in the day. My puppy was very apprehensive about being handed over to the lady, which i should have taken as a sign that there was something wrong since he has been dropped off with other groomers but has never had that type of reaction. I was told my puppy would be ready by 5 o'clock. Upon my return he was still not ready, she stated that she hadn't been able to get to him yet but he would be ready soon and that she would call me. I received a call soon after to pick him up. When he was handed over to me i noticed he smelled great and the cut looked acceptable. I was charged the same amount that i regularly pay at PetSmart for the grooming even though i was quoted a different fee when i dropped him off. I assumed she had compensated for taking him at such a late time of day so i paid the fee. When i got home and closely inspected my puppy i noticed that he has lots of patches of fur that were not cut to the same length as the rest of his coat. It's been a week and my dog is still whimpering from pain in his rib cage and i noticed a large bruise on his chest which was not there previously. My puppy is not handled roughly by anyone at home and thus i know this bruise was done at the grooming salon. I can safely say this because while i was there I personally witnessed another dog being thrown into a cage. I don't know if these were isolated incidents but i do know that i will never take my dog to this groomer again. I trusted her with my puppy and i feel like that trust was betrayed when my puppy was hurt. Again, I can't say that this is an everyday occurrence because this was the first time i took my puppy there but it is of some concern to me due to what i witnessed and what my puppy is experiencing now.

The owner and workers seem to really care about my dog (shih tzu). Reasonable prices (I've compared to PetsMart).

Our dog is beautiful- smells great - and is happy when I drop her off and pick her up!

This place is really great the thing i like about them the most is they are a timely place alot of places say that your pet will be ready at a certain time and you get there and your pet still needs another hour or longer ive taken my Shih Tzu dog to alot of different place and i really like the service i got here at Royalty. Also the are one of the least Inexpensive places in the valley despite the price dont think you wont get quality i have always been happy with my dogs results....
