I went there with my fiancé and we had top notch service. Darrell was an exceptional server and was extremely attentive. The food was all great- I had a filet & he had stuffed scallops, both were very flavorable and good. The only negative this I would have to say is the tomato & mozzarella did not have a lot of flavor like I am used to but they were still good. Everything was very clean also. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has class & plan on taking my parents here when they come in state for a visit!!!

Grille 29 offers an upscale yet affordable dining experience. I have dined there since 2007 and have never had a meal I didn't enjoy. The staff is very attentive to your needs and continues to update the menu regularly with new and exciting choices. This is definitely one of Huntsville's finer restaurants and the surrounding area makes it a pleasure for me to return again and again.

As an 8 year Huntsville resident, I was delighted to find this unique (especially to this area) restaurant, and have been back numerous times since I first discovered this sophisticated, yet casually elegant dining experience. I especially like taking out of town guests here, as the decor and appearance of the establishment (right down to the restrooms) never fails to impress. The menu has many seafood items (the tuna mignon-rare of course--is fantastic), a great lobster bisque, and steaks that, according to my fellow diners (I stick to fish myself) are the "best they have ever had". The prices are quite reasonable for this level of dining, and it is never "stuffy" or "snooty". Service is professional, friendly, and efficient. From the beautiful "northern sky at night" light display and huge salt water fish tank in the lounge area, to the extensive wine (many by the glass) list--Grille 29 is a delight to the senses...and I haven't even mentioned the desserts yet..simply amazing.
