04/22/11 I went to this salon since it was pretty much the only dominican salon to be found in Hartford. I would never go back there again the products they use are cheap they are not even using domincan hair products on your hair. The lady who does the roller set had to be instructed on how to roll my hair and what rollers to use (shoulder lenght hair not that difficult to figure out) she shampooed my head so rough i now have a few scabs in my scalp. The so called stylists did a horrific job on my hair she had to restyle it 3x even after showing her a picture of what my hairstyle is like she could'nt get it right, i paid 45$ which was money thrown in the trash i left feeling like crap because my hairstlye was horrible only to return home and have to do it myself which defeated the purpose of going to the salon. I would not recommend this place to anyone i'm from NYC and i've used domincan salons for over ten years i have never been so disappointed with the results as i was coming out of TAVITO"S in HARTFORD CT
