I have been going here for Marine supplies for many years and have always been pleased with their knowledge and help in the service department. When my 1972 speedboat got a hole in the hull and I was told the striders were shot with a cost of more than $15,000 to repair I went to the sales department here to see what my options were for getting a new/used boat. Even though they are mainly a fishing boat store they were extremely helpful in helping me to decide on the style and model of boat that would meet my needs. I was too late to purchase a used deck boat they had on site but they contacted me when they heard of boats in the area meeting my requirements. After I found and purchased a boat elsewhere they still helped me out in what to do with my old boat and motor. I went to MW after stopping at West Marine on 76th. I was looking for a fuel filter for my boat (an older model - 1975) and they tried to tell me that I'd have to replace the fuel filter with a fuel-water separator (about $350)... in addition they didn't know that on the particular motor I have it's just a fuel filter in the fuel line, and not a fuel-water separator. I went to MW and they knew exactly what I needed, and had it in stock - for under $5... thanks MW - you made a customer, not just a sale!
