Provided by YP.comThe place is small and can be very crowded with little space between archers. The staff are friendly and helpful, although the free lesson that came with my rental left a great deal to be desired. . The instructor gave me less than 5 minutes of his time. I wanted ongoing lessons, I was told that this would be difficult as it would depend upon someone being available which they could not guarantee. Thankfully, one of the more seasoned archers on the range was willing to give me pointers.
I did some comparison shopping and while they charge $12 an hour if you bring your own equipment, other places in Queens and Long Island charge between $10- $15 dollars for the whole day. I am brand new to Archery, this is the first place I have gone to and I have no reference for comparison, so in all fairness to Big Apple, please keep this in mind when you read this review.
usually dont give ratings but i took the bowhunters ed class here and the guy who taught it is also the owner, very knowledgeable and nice guy.i compared some prices and they are on par with online store so thats good as well...also one of the only places u will be able to target shoot without "joining a club" 10 an hour or something.they also have a junior Olympics program for the kids there and its good to see kids getting involved!
