Salon offers special pricing deal but when you pay you are charged extra fees. Received a bad color job and when I requested a refund the salon owner was very rude and refused to return my money. I didn't want them to fix my hair after they had already botched the job. He compaired my service to a car's brake job...and said if I didn't like my brakes I wouldn't get my money back....lol..get real!!! He had no reason to be so rude to me. Perfect way to scare off a new customer. Don't waste your time or money here.

My sister and I went to Barclays today for the first time.Our stylist were absoulutly wonderful ! I got the best haircut that I have ever had my sisters hair turned out great as well.Kudos to Emily and Tereasa we were so excited we made a follow up appointment ! Love Barclays !

I have had my hair cut and colored by 4 different stylists at Barclays. 3 of the stylists were great to work with and are the reason I've continued going. However, one time my regular stylist was not available and I saw a different gal. I have to say, that was the most expensive hair cut/color I have ever had! I have short hair and it was $175. I requested the stylist do only a partial foil and she foiled my entire head. About a week later my hair started breaking! One side is completely broken and there is no haircut that will fix the damage. I am most upset that I was growing my hair out when this happened. My regular gal does NOT charge me that much for her services and does a great job.

I went to buy some hair products at Barclays. They had a sale sign: Buy 1 product receive 10% off/Buy 2 products receive 20% off/Buy 3 products receive 30% off.

I bought 2 items, asked the price and the girl behind the counter gave me the total. I said that the total was not 20% off. She said yes it was, because I received 10% off the first item and 10% off the second item and thus 10% plus 10% is 20% off. I tried arguing to no avail. I later called and got the owner who said the same thing. That 10% off 1 and 10% off the 2nd was a total of 20% off. She used an analogy of me buying 1 item at $10.50 and getting a $1.5 off (yeah I know that 10% of $10.5 is $1.05-apparently she didn't) and then buying the 2nd item at $10.50 and getting another $1.5 off for a total of $3 off and that was 20% off of the total. I tried to tell her that 20% of the $21 purchase was $4.2-got nowhere. I argued a little more and then said never mind and goodbye.



If the total discount they are willing to give customers is 10%-then say 10% off each item up to 3 items. NOT 30% off of the purchase of 3 items-because it is not true.

I will find another place to purchase my hair products from now on.

Went on a referral which stated 50% off your first cut or color. I had a foil done which I guess is not a color (not sure what they color your hair with in a foil). Which by the way you don't pick a color from a swat they pick the color. Also had extra charges when I checked out which I didn't know were being added. Which apparently if you don't ask they don't tell. The sylist was nice and appeared she knew what she was doing. Called the owner to ask about the 50% off and he said a foil is not a color and the coupon is for a regular color which they do not explain. He then proceeded to tell me that as a consumer I should know the difference between a color and a foil. He said that all consumer should know that. He acted like his salon is very high class and that they know what all the customer want and need. All I see is someone that thinks he's bigger than he really is. And the stylist was late for the appointment. I would not recommend going there.

Fantastic salon. All staff are professional and friendly. I have been going there for 6 years and have referred others adn they have not been disappointed!

I recently went to Barclay's salon for the first time to get a haircut and color. I was very satisfied with the treatment I received. The minute I walked in the door I was greeted by the friendly receptionist and before I had a chance to sit down in the lobby my stylist was ready for me. My stylist was very knowledgeable with the latest trends. I found that the staff were very professional and yet personable. I got the best cut and color I have ever had!! I am now going to be a loyal customer. Thanks Barclay staff.

This salon is like no other. They are great here and will tell you if they can or cannot do what you want done as some of us have mistreated our hair terribly and it needs to repair itself before we can have anything else done. I highly recommend Barclay's.

although I liked the cuts for myself. my husband and my son, they over book apoointments so you will wait. Also thye are very expensive $285 cut collor and tint OUCH!!! I informed the owner we won't be back beacuase of a 25 minute wait and he didn't care at all.

I cut my hair in a grieving ceremony and went in to have it fixed. I told the stylist that I hated bobs and that I didn't want any length cut off. She cut off a lot of the length that was left and she cut my hair in a more severe bob than it already was. My hair looked much better before I went in. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

I made an appointment at this shop based on the previous review. I arrived a few minutes prior to my appointment time only to wait 15 minutes past my appointment and then be told the operator wouldn't perm my color treated hair. Had I been told this the previous day when I made the appointment I would have had time to find another salon.

I thought we had a great deal at our previous salon. We left because our stylist left. But Barclay's is FANTASTIC! My daughter and I had cut and styles done and a week later my daughter went for highlights. They were fast and very efficient. The best highlights she has ever had done. I will continue going to this great salon.
