Provided by YP.comI called this business 3 times in a week. They would NEVER call me back, and when a truck was supposed to come and pick up my car, they never arrived. When i called asking why it didn't show, the man said, "oh yeah our truck has been down for awhile" Why didn't they tell me? I had to call another company, JPs salvage ( much better service by the way) They wasted my time, and were very rude. 0/10 would use again

Provided by DexKnowsNeeded some parts for a 2007 Silverado. They had plenty to choose from. Harder to come by when it's a "newer" vehicle! Best part, They didn't gouge the heck out of me for what I needed!

Provided by DexKnowsThey had what I wanted at a very fair price. Even brought over the loader and lifted 2 vehicles for me so I could get to the underside easier and not have to crawl around on my back. Weren't the friendliest or more accomodating people in the office, but all in all a good experience and I will be going back there soon for additional parts for my project.

Provided by DexKnowsI have been here a few times getting a few parts for an old volvo of mine. Really friendly people, and the prices were astonishing. Even got a few little things for free. Will return for all my auto salvage needs. They have a great inventory of old cars, the only scrap yard in Des Moines I have found that had Volvo 240s, and they had 3 of them.

Provided by DexKnowsI ASKED HOW MUCH A WINDSHIELD WAS FOR A 1999 FORD TAURUS. INSTEAD OF GIVING ME THE PRICE, THEY SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY. I POINTED OUT 9 WINDSHIELDS. STILL INSTEAD OF GIVING ME THE PRICE, THEY YELLED WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT, "OK WE DO HAVE SOME, BUT IF YOU BREAK IT, YOU BUY IT!!" I REPLIED, I ASKED WHAT THE PRICE IS FOR A WINSHIELD. THEY FINALLY QUOTED ME AROUND $400.00 JUST TO GET RID OF ME. IF THESE JUNK YARDS ARE GOING TO BE IN BUSINESS, WHY DO THEY NOT WANT TO SELL THE JUNK THEY HAVE LAYING AROUND! SMITTY'S AUTO SUCKS TOO!
