Where to begin? .... I needed salon services, I went for a color consult and it was dead however I waited 40 minutes while the lady finished up another employees hair while I sat... I should of taken that as my red flag. Had the consult thought it went well, I had a color hair formula from my old salon so it was fool proof! I went back 2 weeks later... I ended up getting a full highlight which I asked for a partial, I clearly said no on the scalp color because I'm pregnant and sure enough between my highlights she did root touch up another service I did not want! After it was washed my roots were orange!!! She was like well we can fix it now or you can come back next week... Um no I demanded it be fixed now... Well it came out orange again just not as bright at this point I was not allowing anyone in that place to touch my hair. She dried me somewhat left me damp underneath no flat iron a frizz ball! She was behind because she messed up so her next client was waiting so moved me to the room to get my eyebrows waxed and left never said bye never checked on me. Got my eyebrows done by some stressed out rude chick who just started waxing never asked what I wanted done she left I was done and left the room... I was left to just go up to the desk myself... Everyone looking at my frizz orange root hair! I was charged for the full highlight and root touch up which I never ever wanted! I had to go the next week and spend 150 on my hair to fix it so I could go in public again. What a joke, screw that place and all the employees talk about how they hate the owner and want to leave. Classless and unprofessional!

I love High Maintenance Carol was top-notch she is a perfectionist I had my first Brazilian and was so nervous...she made me feel at ease and comfortable explained what to expect and she was right on. The staff all professional, friendly and service oriented. Thanks to Mike I finally love my hair. Yay!!!! Ecstatic.

I love this place! I have been in twice and will continue to come here. They are clean and have good service. I got rockstars for my toes, although a couple came off the salon had no problem taking care of me! They did a great job and I will go back often along with tell all of my firends about this place!

I want to start of by saying that the employes here are great they seem very sweet and friendly and do a great job however with that said dont expect to go to the same person for more than a couple months so i suppose my ealier comment cant really be to usefull seeing how its only a matter of time till they get fed up with all the verbal abuse from the owner and leave. They dont even get paid on time the owner tells them that the date for pay day is more like a target ha can you believe that. You will be told how everyone is liscensed this is not true there have been a couple girls who arent that have worked there. If you run into the owner dont expect to get out right away she will tell you her whole life story. For your sake look for another salon

if I could I would give this place "0" stars! Go here only if you want to wait to be greeted while the receptionist and another employee finish their conversation. Go here only if you find it acceptable to be "lectured" on the quality of your nail trimming abilities by a super fake woman with a super poor personality. Go here only if you expect to wait at the register for 5 minutes to pay while the employee finishes a phone conversation. Go here only if you like to get a $40 pedicure that chips the very next day! Absolutely disgusted with the entire experience and will be letting everyone I know to not go there. Working in healthcare, that is ALOT of people!

I love the absolute cleanliness of this facility and the hygienic practices I have not experienced in any other salon! Our entire family comes to High Maintenance for haircuts (husband too), and to get our nails done. Thank you! I am so grateful there's finally a sanitary salon for those of us on the east side of town!

This place is amazing! All the girls are great! Very friendly atmosphere! I won't go anyplace else for my pedicure!!

I have long been searching for an exceptionally clean salon on the east side of town and here it is!

They even replace inserts in the pedicure tubs after each client (after running a bleach like cleaner through the system).

They also wipe down the seat as well (along with other practices). I'm so thoroughly impressed w/ the sanitization process and overall cleanliness, not to mention the friendly staff!

High Maintenance was recommended by a friend after her mani/pedi. She is still my friend and now I'm recommending them, as well. The salon is bright and cheery and has the most beautiful kimonos on the wall for decoration.



My High Maintenance Pedicure was scheduled with Myra. I am always a little nervous walking into a pedicure for the first time because you never know how the baths are cleaned and I was very pleased to see a plastic liner in the bath. The High Maintenance Pedi includes many choices: my choices included a leg mask; hot towels; massage and choice of color. Unexpectedly, you receive a free bottle of nail polish; perfect for touch ups! At the end of my pedi, the plastic liner was drained and thrown away. No need to worry about whether the bath was cleaned properly before I arrived.



High Maintenance has a manscape room separate from the ladies area. The man room has a big screen tv and has a dedicated manicure/pedicure station. Whether he likes it or not, my man will get an appointment scheduled in the near future...



Prices were extremely reasonable - under $30 for a basic pedi and $35.95 for the High Maintenance version. I made a follow up appointment for next month before I left.
