I was at Chino Hills in The Shoppes outdoor mall with my sister, mother, cousin, and nephew. My sister was just about to get her haircut at the salon next door from Justice but had an hour till her appointment. My mother was having back problems that day so she asked my sister to drop her off at another store. Before they left we put quarters in the spot and had my cousin and nephew hold the parking spot by standing in it. I was inside the salon watching them; I had not paid for my haircut yet and was planning on paying on the same tab as my sister who was coming back, So as assurance that I was going to pay I stayed inside the salon. While I was inside there was a car that tried to park where the kids were; but the car, seeing the kids, backed off. A second car drove into the parking spot yelling angrily from inside the car at the children to move from the spot. My nephew and cousin moved and told the lady the story and said that she was returning something to the store. I witnessed all of this: I believed that the lady might have been having a bad day and that was the reason for her mood, also I figured by the time she was done returning my sister would come back. Nevertheless my sister came back, and the kids told her about what the lady had done to them. My sister, wanting to clear up the situation, went into the store. When we walked into the store we were aggressively greeted by a sharp “Can I Help you with something?” Rather than your typical, “Hello! Welcome to Justice! Can I help you with something?” My sister proceeded to ask about the incident and the lady denied all of it. Then she asked, “Why? Would you like some quarters? I have quarters.” She had no tone of sincerity in her voice. When I claimed to have see it she snapped at me and said that I was not there. Unbeknownst to her I was watching from the doorframe of the salon next door when she did it. My sister requested for the manager of the store wanting to get a mediator for the problem then the lady responded and said that she was the manager and aggressively asked us to the leave the store after we asked for the number for security. She also refused to give us her name.

Is this really the type of people that Justice employs: A manager that lies to children when they think they aren’t being watched and is extremely rude to customers? The problem of the matter isn’t the parking spot: it is the integrity of your employees. Not only did was she rude to us but she had a coworker standing next to her and glared at us.

What we are asking from you isn’t a new parking spot, a gift card, or even for Justice to fire this manager. What we are asking is for Justice to ask this manager to consider her integrity and to send us a promise that she would never lie to a child ever again. We would like to ask Justice to make this known to all of its employees so that this same mistake isn’t made twice.
