I recently moved to Bloomington and wanted to find a place to get my nails done. I'm always nervous about going to just any random nail salon that you pass on the street as I have had some seriously sketchy manicures! I did a quick internet search, saw Maisunami's web reviews and decided to give it a try. I called for an appointment and although they couldn't fit me in right away, they took my name and number. They promptly called me and managed to fit me in. When I arrived for my appointment, the salon was pretty full but everyone was positive and having interesting conversations and seemed to be doing good work while they were having fun. The owner did my nails (I'm sorry to say I didn't catch her name.) I noticed her checking each person's nails before they left to make sure that they looked great. She gave me good advice about my nails and all kinds of other stuff as she took her time giving me a great manicure that was just what I wanted. Everyone in the salon seemed 100% dedicated to making sure that the customers left with perfect nails. They did the little things like making sure that customers had already paid and put on their jackets prior to applying the polish so that accidents were avoided. I didn't get a pedicure but will definitely go back to Maisunami for anything involving nails in the future. Besides the excellent service, their prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!
