Provided by YP.comLast week was the first time I had been to the Thurman Veterinary Clinic, and I must say it was an amazing experience! I was quite nervous because I own a pit/boxer mix who is fearful aggressive....very aggressive. We avoid going to the vet because I have had negative experiences in the past with vets not being able to handle her or just being plain scared of her. Dr. Thurman handled my baby girl with such a calm and understanding manner. She of course was growling through her muzzle and behaving aggressively, but Dr. Thurman didn't bat an eye. He took her out of the room to examine her and update her shots, and once with him, she no longer growled or made any attempt to make an aggressive move towards him. He brought her back in and explained that in his experience with aggressive animals, he has determined that "less is more". He was knowledgable and thorough with explaining what was wrong with my pup and was extremely professional. I would recommend him to everyone. He has taken the fear out of taking my Riley to the vet, which is a relief since she is getting up there in age and may need to visit more often in the future. Two thumbs up no doubt!
