Zandys has the best cheesesteak's in town! Hand's down! I love the nostalgia & the going back to a time when when thing's were simple & courtesy, politeness and good family service was the way of life! The food is great! Reasonably priced as well. If you haven't had a Zandy's cheesesteak.... You missing something special! 70+ year's and 3 generation's of family run Allentown tradition. Fact: when Zandy's first opened from the 8th st bridge in Allentown to Fogelsville on Lehigh st the Brass Rail and Zandy's were the only two places too eat! Allentown should recognize them and other local eateries such as the brass rail, Yoccos etc. for there outstanding history, loyalty and devotion to the community. Hey Ed you out there? Any thought's

I remember eating Zandies alot when I lived in Allentown as early as in the 1950's.I now live in SC and haven't had a Zandies steak for a very long time I truly miss these steaks and If I could find a way of shipping these overnight I know what I would be having for dinner tomarrow.Thanks Zandies for the memories and the good steaks.

Zandys is a true original and been around forever. My grandparents. It's went there way back when and I take my own kids there now. It is a bare bones but comfortable and a great great place for cheese steaks (with sauce, just how I like them) and pierogies. It is not fancy, but the service is friendly and helpful.
