Low-Cost Lodging at the Light House for Cancer Patients in Albany, Georgia A place to stay for patients who have to travel 25 miles or more for treatment. Many of our cancer patients have to travel many miles for treatment, and may need to stay overnight in Albany, Georgia. The Light House, a five-bedroom home right across the street from the hospital, provides low-cost overnight lodging for patients and one caregiver. The Light House is located on Fourth Avenue, convenient to the north entrance to the hospital and offers: Convenient parking Day guest visitation Accommodations for up to 10 guests Two rooms with private baths for bone marrow transplant patients For those patients who require it, complimentary transportation is available between the Light House and the Cancer Center.
