      Aphios Corporation is a biopharmaceutical company that develops enhanced natural therapeutics for infectious diseases, cancer and quality-of-life medicines. The company s business strategy is to collaborate with multinational companies, such as Novartis, Bayer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly and the Gillette Company, to develop enhanced therapeutic products. The resulting technology platforms and therapeutic products have garnered approximately 30 United States and international patents with several applications pending. Its product pipeline includes SuperCool Gingerol, a pill for aiding digestion; Zindol, a pill that mitigates nausea caused by chemotherapy and motion and morning sickness; Xantol, a pill to treat mild to moderate depression and anxiety; and LoTax, an intravenous medication for breast and ovarian cancer. Aphios is also developing antiviral therapeutics against HIV, influenza, smallpox and SARS. The company maintains its headquarters in Woburn, Mass.
