They know their stuff

The store is great. They are a very small store when compared to others but when you see the way the employees interact with each other its amazing. The produce is fresh and worked nonstop throughout the day. The meat dept knows their product very well actually(quite the contrast to the other review on here which just sounds like an angry rant.). The grocery dept is very helpful and punctual about it as well. All in all it is a great store to shop at the customer service is superb and although not as big as other Whole Foods the quality of employees give them a very big edge on the other locations.

Awesome store and staff

The staff is friendly and helpful.

The produce is fresh and high quality.

I do not eat meat so I can not comment on the quality of the meat.

The bread is nice, especially the seeduction bread.

They have a nice selection of organic bulk nuts and grains.

I would highly recommend this store. Although I shop first @ the Royal Oak Farmer's Market and then fill in anything I can not find @ the Farmer's Market from Whole Foods.

The Michigan Organic farmers tthat Whole Foods buy from also are @ the Royal Oak Farmer's market.

Get a Clue

The intent is terrific and the produce managers (and some of the workers) are helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the rest of the store. The meat department is pathetic-- not a clue about what they are selling and the schedule of when food comes into the store!! The meat in the case is also NOT natural/ antibiotic/pesticide free although, because of the store aura, it gives the impression that it is. Some of the Whole Food brand of frozen vegetables marked Organic comes from China! With the inflated prices the store charges, the consumer deserves better.
