My mother, who is approaching 80 and very timid, was convinced to enter the Lorion store in Santa Monica. They took advantage of an elderly woman who has obvious difficulty saying no and making sound decisions, and sold her a set of very expensive products. She was intimidated, and left the store stressed and scared she just spent a lot of money.

Upon understanding the situation later in the evening, I returned the next day to discuss the situation and request a refund. As a person in sales most of my career, the customer service was very poor - done with a smile, handshake and every excuse why the products can’t be returned. The manager ‘called’ the corporate office to ‘see what he could do’ because it was out of his hands. Of course, he walked away from me as he made the call. Only to return and tell me he/they can’t do anything. Less than 24 hours, with the same boxed products on the shelf, he informs me it is problematic to return cosmetics. He also informed me they provided my mom a facial worth over $300 for free, and how will they get that money back. It was not on the receipt, and if it was free, then it need not be part of the discussion.

Do not go to this store. Slick talking, money-grabbing people not truly interested in what is best for customers...especially those easily taken advantage of like the elderly.

Shameful! Would rate them a zero, if it was allowed.

I walked into their Beverly Hills location about a week ago because I saw them stay outside their store trying to offer things to people or whatever they're offering and I was just curious who I talked with one woman and she was from Israel she was okay and she was trying to sell me you know some of the products that I really wasn't interested and then all the sudden she turns me over to another woman who claims to be the owner I don't remember her name she try to send an expensive bottle of some kind of cream for $400 or whatever it was and I told her I wasn't interested she kept pushing and pushing and pushing until I would buy it and I kept saying no I don't like it when I mean no and you're trying to convince to know to turn to a yes I had no interest in buying the product from the very beginning and then she claimed that offended by it right away the special will be over well I wasn't looking for a special I was looking for anything actually and then when I finally left her store when I finally got the hell out of there she called me cheap I was extremely angry offended and insulted I don't know how they're going to last but if that's the way that they do business in Israel then whatever but this is United States of America and things are going a little bit different here she never Force someone to buy anything that they don't want thank you Howard polish or executive order for google.com with 7 million views a month of my work worldwide guaranteed thank you
