      General Info

      The owner and President of Creative Embroidery, Douglas B. Lockamy, started in the monogramming business in 1989. With much success the company quickly expanded to five retail stores located in some of the larger malls throughout North Carolina.Initially, the majority of our product was purchased wholesale, monogrammed and then in thiscompleted state would be sold as our product. As time passed we began to design and produce our own products for our stores that our customers could buy on the spot and take with them. What we discovered was that the items we were producing ourselves had were selling better than anything we were re-selling.Our next transition was to close all of our stores and open one central location to serve as our retail/wholesale headquarters and production center. This is still our same headquarters today.We do all of our monogramming ourselves in Raleigh, North Carolina. We take pride in creating high quality products and customer satisfaction is a top priority.       Even though it was a little last minute on my part, I explained my situation, asked if they could possibly rush my order and we made it in time. Excellent quality work and nice friendly people there to help you. (they are constantly swamped with big orders, I found out they sell to a bunch of different department stores. A lot of new things out there are coming from them.)
