We at MEL Trailer have specialized in vintage restorations for over 20 years. Prior to creating MEL Trailer we worked directly for classic trailer manufactures such as Silver Streak and other trailer restoration companies such as Vintage Vacations. If you happen to see a beautifully restored classic trailer, who knows it may have even been worked on by the folks who are now at MEL Trailer. In 2004 MEL Trailer was formed by Mike Keenan, Erasmo Romo and Lucas Romo. The M.E.L in MEL Trailer comes from their first name initials. Erasmo and Lucas, obviously being brothers, have worked to refine the craftsmanship of trailer restoration over the past 20 years of working for various companies such as Silver Streak, Vintage Vacations and Family RV. Mike's work experience is in running a construction company. This experience now provides the needed project management and oversight to the art of trailer restoration. With MEL Trailer you can be confident not only in the top notch workmanship but also that your project will be managed along the way to keep you informed of the progress and completed within your budget. Our facility is located in Southern California although we are happy to work on projects brought to us from anywhere in the country.
