I feel truly blessed to have found this group. Having only recently been diagnosed with RA I came to my first appointment both apprehensive and uninformed. Dana Hoffman the assistant., did the initial interview. She was compassionate and patient. Then I met Dr. Saimia Chohan. The more she spoke the more my anxiety about my disease and my future subsided. She examined me, assured me that she could help me and took the time to explain what medication could do for me and reviewed all of the treatment options available. She listened to my questions and I never felt rushed. I felt that she respected me as a person and cared about my concerns. Blood tests and x-rays were ordered for further evaluation. She suggested a biologic medication. Unfortunately my insurance did not cover enough on the biologics for them to be affordable. The staff then went out of their way to find me an affordable treatment option. All of my contact with the staff has been favorable on the phone and in person. I am always treated pleasantly and courteously. My phone calls are returned and I feel that I matter as a patient to them. The office staff all seem to work together as a united team and it is a cheerful atmosphere. I've never waited more than a short time for an appointment and have nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Cochan and the staff.
