Established in 1922, Sandy Burr Country Club is a privately owned, 18-hole, championship golf course. The club s golf course is spread over an area of more than 6,500 yards. Its clubhouse features a lounge and fireplaces and can accommodate up to 250 guests. Sandy Burr Country Club has a pro shop that offers a variety of merchandise. The club also hosts various golf tournaments, such as the President's Cup and Sandy Burr Cup. Its facilities are available for wedding receptions, banquets, business meetings and private parties. The club s catering menu includes tuna salad, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, saut ed wild mushrooms, crab cakes, vegetable rolls, and assorted bagels and pastries.
