Founded in 1954, the West Knox Utility District is a municipal entity that provides water and wastewater services. It serves more than 20,000 customers throughout Tennessee. The district offers online bill payment options. It serves various Knox county schools and industrial and commercial parks. The district operates a 4-million-gallon wastewater treatment plant located in the West Bridge Industrial Park in Knoxville, Tenn.
