They don't deserve NO STARS!! JFK E.R. is pathetic RUDE over weight staff they eat first before they attend you. ! i was involved in a very serious accident bi-lateral both legs almost losing one leg a few months ago i went to get help the waiting room is disgusting stains of the floor. hobos sleeping in all the seats heck you could of started a camp fire and the hobos would of like that. People coughing, babies crying, I was in serious pain finally called in the Dr Jackson was RUDE!!! something about his spirit very"cold" He kept on asking me questions that were no important. I then waited another 2 hours in the stinking hobo waiting room the Dr didn't even give me no pain medications in fact he lift leaving me in pain. I went to the E.R. about 8 years ago same thing but only worse someone needs to report this Hospital for negligence. Sincerely YOU KNOW WHO THIS IS JFK.YOU LEFT ME IN PAIN!!!

Horrible Healthcare Facility! ...

Horrible Healthcare Facility! Walked into the waiting room with only 2 people in it - registered with a very rude admissions person - 30 minutes later I was triaged (didn't even take my temp & the "nurse" spent more time telling me her health issues than inquiring as to why I was there!) - the waiting room filled and filled and filled (a toddler brought in bleeding by ambulance was put in the waiting room and wasn't seen during the many hours I was there!) - 3 hours later ONE patient had been taken back to see a doctor (NOT the bleeding toddler!) - 3 and 1/2 hours later I told the admissions clerk that I was leaving to go to another hospital. A half an hour later I was admitted into EISENHOWER MEDICAL CENTER (Rancho Mirage, CA) & received fantastic care! (I will be writing an absolutely positively raving review on them as well!) Two weeks later I received a bill from JFK. I immediately called the number on the bill - explained the situation - the billing person told me that the bill was for triage and that I do not have a valid dispute so I'd have to dispute it 'n person' (I live 2 hours from the hospital) - I asked to speak to a supervisor but of course none were available - I then let her know that I WILL NOT pay this bill on a matter of principle - the conversation was then over. I can honestly say that I left this hospital (which is completely filthy and has a terrible staff by the way) in worse shape then when I walked in! I wish negative star ratings were an option!
