Greay hole in the wall. Would have given 5 stars if the atmosphere was nicer. Huge portions and tasty.

I love Korean Barbecue. I love Gina's. I love fat, thick slices of whatever meats you desire, freshly cooked and complemented perfectly by three fluffy mountains of rice and four side-dish choices. The only way I can make a bad choice there is if I try to eat it all too fast.



Enough of me glossing over. Gina's is, in my opinion, the best Korean food in Hawaii. I'm aware that there could be restaurants that I haven't tried, but this place is not only delicious, it is also cheap. I'm talking $6.75 for a plate-lunch with all the fixins (which is big enough to last a normal person at least two meals, no exaggeration).



The dining area itself is very mom-and-pop style. Personally, I love the atmosphere in Makai Marketplace, but I notice many people getting take-out simply because the place is packed at any peak hours.

If you are in the mood for some great Korean food for a reasonable price, this is the place. It appears to get very busy during meal times so be prepared to wait, although not an unreasonable length of time. They do a great take out business, but they also have a few tables for those wanting to eat in. The space, however, is very limited. We can understand why they do get so busy.
