Have being to Puppy Camp since 2000. On my 3rd dog, the staff &services are EXCELLENT. Susan (&Jon) offer a great home atmosphere for overnight stays. Kamper came home happy and tired for 13 years. GREAT PLACE. Maggie comes home exhausted from camp and gets very excited when we turn into their parking lot!!

more expensive!!

I have been try very hard to find a good doggydaycare to take my two dogs to..someone on a review claimed that this daycare is cheaper than anywhere else. I have taken my dogs tpo the petspot for a few weeks, but also wanted to see if I could find a better deal. The petspot in norwood ohio is definitely cheaper IF you have two dogs at home. I love that puppy camp opens an hour earlier than. The pet spot....but it still saves me a lot more money. For two dogs at puppy canp... $38. ! At tge petspot $28 PLUS they give free nail trims (if asked) for daycare. Just wanted to share this information . Also I would NOT go to dogtown.

I have not been in this place but i drive by it a lot. I would never leave my dog there. The outside looks dirty and by reading all those reviews i am thinking about calling the media. It would be a great way to shut this place down. Something is not wright in that place.

LOVE IT!!!

The groomer they are talking about no longer works there. They have a different groomer who is very nice, friendly, and does a very good job. As far as the daycare goes, my dogs absolutely love it. After the weekend of only going on walks and to the dog park, they are literally whining come Monday morning. As soon as I make the turn onto Reading Road, my dogs start to go nuts! I could not imagine taking my dogs anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and Susan, one of the owners, will even take your dog to her house and give them dinner if you can't make it on time to pick them up. They are very personable with their clientele and it is very obvious to me that they love what they are doing and are absolutely in this business for the love of the dogs. Most of the staff has been there for years and know every single dog by name. The play area is HUGE and open for all dogs to run around and play and they even have a garage door open in the back that lets out into their giant outdoor play area. So, unlike most other day cares, the dogs that go to Puppy Camp are free to go inside and outside as they please...whenever they want! In the summer time they have sprinklers and baby pools outside full of water and bubbles for the dogs to play in and there are always tennis balls and toys laying around to be played with. I've seen the staff playing with laser pointers and blowing bubbles for the dogs, as well. Puppy Camp has the perfect atmosphere for my dogs and I just don't know what I would do without them.

Do not get your pet groomed here!

I recently took my puppy to have him groomed here. Technically the groomer does not work for Puppy Camp. She works in their buidling. The grooming area is next the the play area. When I picked him up he could not walk on his right hind leg. I took him to an emergency clinic and they told me that he needed surgery. The tendon around his knee had torn off his bone. Long story short, he had surgery, he's still recovering from it, and the groomer is refusing to pay the medical bills even though he was injured in her care.

The day camp seems fine and they staff their were very friendly, just don't have your pet groomed there.
