Peabody School is an elementary institution that provides academic and social education to students in kindergarten through grade eight. It offers educational programs in foreign languages, social studies, science, reading, writing, math, physical health, language arts, music, speech and physical education. Peabody School has a library media center that offers guidance and reference materials for additional information. The school s staff includes teachers, teaching assistants, behavioral technicians and social workers. In addition, it offers a variety of cocurricular programs, including book fairs, science nights, student council, peer mediators, Project Adventure and Science Olympiad. Established in 1889, Peabody School is a part of Cambridge Public Schools and is located in Cambridge, Mass.
