New Owner is Fantastic

I noticed that Cambridge Nail Salon is under new ownership, so I thought I would check it out. I was pleasantly surprised. The salon has had a makeover. New floor, walls, technicians, equipment. Everything is fresh and clean. It was the best manicure and pedicure since I've been on the East Coast! They message your legs with hot rocks and use nice scrubs leaving you feeling fresh and relaxed. The prices are very reasonable. Also, I went back to get waxed. The technician was very professional, fast and cleaned up very well. Excellent Job! So, if you want a great manicure, pedicure or wax, don't hesitate to see Cindy.

Best pedicure best manicure I don't think so

Best pedicure! Best Manicure 5 stars exceptional purp233 you have to be kidding me right? I have mixed feelings about this place. I saw many professionals and good looking people entering the place so I was like I am going to get the best pedicure ever. I was wrong. I don't understand people, why do you even go there?? They suck. The place is clean but my pedicure was bad. The place has a large tv screen. They have a wax room. They have a flyer you can take home near the dryer. All the services and prices are listed on the flyer. When you enter the place they will not say hi. They will ask what do you need and to pick a color. All the nail polishs were in the front ,near the door. It's convenient I liked it. They have a great selection of magazine. I am not a magazine girl so it does not interest me, but I saw so many customers who enjoyed People magazine, you know the type. They have big and comfortable chairs. They looked like that they were massage chairs but no one help me with the buttons so I could not fully enjoy the chair. They have a male worker and 2 females. I had the male and I was thinking I hope he knows what he's doing and gave him a chance. He put my feet in the water. The water was too hot. It was a hot day, do I want to put my feet in hot water? NO! Even the lady next to me screamed that it was too hot. Then I was like see I am not the only one. I did not tell anyone about the hot water. I was like, well I guess it's part of the bad experience of this place. But let me tell that my feet felt awful. It felt like my feet were in the oven or in hell for 3minutes. Then he started to clean my feet and toes. He did a ok job but they were still dead skins on my toes. He gave me a good little massage feet and legs and ask me if I was doing ok. I liked that he was kind of friendly. It was kind of weird he just did not look like he worked at a nail place. He looked more like he was an employee at the business next door: a tattoo shop. Also I had some clear nail polish on my toe nails. Even if my toe nails look clear it does not mean that I don't have clear nail polish on them. So basically you are supposed to use some polish remover first. He did not. I don't know if they are broke and try to save on polish remover but it was not cool. He started to use something to peel the nail polish off. I called his job a half pedicure. Why? Because when I got home I had to do his job again not the nail polish part but the cleaning part. But the polish needed to be done again but I was like I can't do it again I paid for it and I was lazy. He did a very poor job with the nail polish. I thought I was dreaming. He started with the clear one than the color and another clear coat. It started to chip when I got home. The chair was comfortable when I was drying my toenails. The dryer did not dry my toe nails. I was very angry. He put a spray on my toe nails, the way he did it was very ghetto, kind of in front of everybody, no privacy and near the door. I paid for the pedicure. Be careful I think there is also a guy that come to this place often to pick up girls. He will get a pedicure and start talking to you and try to get your number and invite you to dinner. That's really not cool at all at a nail place. It's highly inappropriate. Then the worst and final part: I was like I need to see their restrooms and ask to go to the restrooms. They told me on my left. It was very weird. Then I saw a guy there, and I was like OMG. They are located next to a tattoo business. I asked that kid why he was in the restroom and I saw the tattoo business right in front of me. They had the door open. And I finally realize the worst that the Nail place shares the restrooms with the tattoo place. It was disgusting. I went in the restroom after the guy but could not pee. I was in shock and went home. The nail guy said bye I replied bye then left.
