      Baring Asset Management is a global investment management company that manages $35 billion on behalf of clients located around the world. The firm offers a wide range of equity and fixed income products in domestic and international markets through commingled and separate account vehicles. From the firm s roots in 1762, Baring has been involved in the finances of governments, industries and private individuals. Baring was among the first to open an investment management office in the Far East more than 20 years ago, and launched investment operations in the United States in the late 1970s. The firm does business in North America under two SEC registered entities: Baring Asset Management and Baring International Investment Limited. The firm currently manages a combined total of $6.3 billion in domestic and international equity, fixed income and balanced products on behalf of North American based clients.
